2. Data We Collect
Through the operation of the Website (the DataClip website), we collect only:
- Email address — provided voluntarily when signing up for the waiting list (newsletter).
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution — collected automatically by the server through access logs and by external CDN services (see section 6).
We do not collect sensitive data (Art. 9 GDPR) or data of children under 16 years of age.

4. Consent and Withdrawal
Signing up for the waiting list is voluntary and constitutes consent to the processing of your email address for the purpose of receiving information about the launch of the DataClip platform.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by:
- clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any email, or
- sending a message to dataclipapp@gmail.com.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
5. Data Recipients
Your data may be shared only with entities that help us provide our services:
- MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ireland / Lithuania) — mailing list management. MailerLite acts as a data processor and applies appropriate GDPR-compliant safeguards. MailerLite Privacy Policy.
- Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for website traffic measurement. GA4 is loaded only after you provide consent via the cookie banner. Google acts as a data processor. Google Privacy Policy.
- CDN Providers — Cloudflare (cdnjs), Google Fonts, Tailwind CSS CDN — for delivering fonts, icons, and stylesheets. These services may process the user's IP address as part of HTTP request handling.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Transfers Outside the EEA
Some of the above-mentioned services (e.g., Google Fonts, Cloudflare) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States.
In such cases, data transfers are based on:
- an adequacy decision by the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), or
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The DataClip Website uses the following categories of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function and to remember your consent choice. No consent is required under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC).
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — loaded only after you click "Accept" in the consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until consent is given, GA4 stores no cookies or identifiers. After acceptance, GA4 collects anonymous traffic data (visit count, sources, devices) with IP address precision reduction.
You can change your consent at any time by clicking the "Manage cookie consent" link in the footer of the site.
Your language preference (PL/EN) and consent choice are stored in the browser's local storage (localStorage) under the keys dataClipLang and dataClipConsent. This data is not transmitted to any server.
8. Your Rights (GDPR, Chapter III)
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15) — you may obtain information about whether and what data we process.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16) — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17, "right to be forgotten") — you may request deletion of your data.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — you may request restriction of processing in certain cases.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20) — you may receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or disclosure, including:
- encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS),

- restricting access to personal data to authorized personnel only.
